Methanol is used for the manufacture of formaldehyde, formic acid, methyl chloride and mathyl sulphate, in the organic synthesis industry, medicine industry, as an antifreesze agent and as a solvent in various industrial branches.
Delivery
The packing, marking and labeling are done according to the regulations in force concerning hazardous chemical substances and preparations. Methanol is delivered in authorized packaging equipped with seals attachment systems. The product is stored in tight containers or as delivered, away from heat soruces. The containers kept in the open air must be protected by sunshields and equipped with dry nitrogen cushion. The product is transported by means of transportation in compliance with the RID/ADR regulations in force, for hazardous substances.
